Dog Jacket Size Chart
To ensure the best fit for your dog, follow these three simple steps:
1️⃣ Measure Your Dog's Chest (Girth) – Most Important!
- Use a soft measuring tape to measure around the widest part of your dog’s chest, just behind the front legs.
- Make sure the tape is snug but not tight—leave room for two fingers to fit comfortably.
2️⃣ Measure Neck to Tail Length
- Start at the base of the neck (where the collar sits) and measure down the back to the start of the tail.
3️⃣ Choose the Right Size
- Compare your measurements to our size chart.
- If your dog is between sizes, size up for a more comfortable fit!
- Our jackets feature adjustable Velcro straps, allowing for a snug and customizable fit.
Size | Example Breeds | Chest Girth (widest part) | Neck to Tail Length |
---|---|---|---|
Small | Jack Russell, Terrier, Pug | 15" - 20" | 14" - 18" |
Medium | Cocker Spaniel, Beagle | 21" - 27" | 19" - 22" |
Large | Labrador, Boxer, Aussie | 28" - 34" | 23" - 26" |
X-Large | German Shepherd, Golden Retriever | 35" - 40" | 27" - 33" |
💡 Pro Tip: If your dog is fluffy, broad-chested, or between sizes, we recommend going one size up for the best fit! The adjustable Velcro straps provide extra flexibility for a secure and comfortable fit.
